Help with audio files

I click on the song title, but I only hear the music for a few seconds before it stops.

If you have a slower dial-up internet connection, it may take up to a minute or more to download each 600 KB sample. You will need to wait until the download is completed before you can listen to the song without interruption. Wait until the progress bar shows that the transfer is finished, then click the play button.

High-speed internet connections download the song faster than it plays, avoiding this problem.

Can I save the song onto my computer so I can play it back again later without returning to the web site?

Sure. To save the song on your computer, click the song title using the right-hand button on your mouse (or ctrl-click in Mac OS). From the popup menu, select the option to save or download the file or link. You'll then be prompted to save the file to a location on your computer's hard disk. To play the song back later, double-click the file.

Install one of these or another MP3 player application, then try again.

I use Netscape. How do I return to the previous page after I've listened to a song?

Click your browser's back button to return to the index page and select another song.
